"Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few
wants." (Epictetus) We have so many wants, if we want to be honest. And we know exactly that most of our wants are not important and needed. We never run out of wants. Especially now we live in a consumer era.
There are always hidden persuaders which keep on persuading us to want
something. And true wealth is not in having many possessions, because it will
never stop if we keep on wanting anything. But in having few wants. We have to be able to control our desire to having something. We
should differentiate between what we need and what we want. In life, we need only few things which it is truly needed for living.
But we want so many things to satisfy our lust and desire.
