Happiness does not depend on our surrounding.

It is a state of mind.

That is why it is a choice. A tough one. Because sometimes our
circumstances does not support us to be happy. It does not give us any
reason to be happy.

Then it is the choice of mind that determine us to be happy.

That is why effort is what we need to make that choice.

And many times we need it a lot.
