Pressure is like a cutting knife that peeling out all of our attributes we wear when everything is nice and smooth. It will peel out layer by layer of our artificial appearance until it shows the real us.

The real us, the true self, is hidden beneath so many of our "masks" in our daily life. What others see in us, many times is not the real us. We show to the world what the world wants to see in us.

And pressure reveals it to the world and to ourselves. It reminds us the true self that we have. It reminds us the real person are we.
