LIFE IS GOOD

Life is good no matter how
you knit it up
or unravel it.
Pure and simple
Life is good
when you are knitting.

Life is good
No matter how
you sing it
whether the tune
is sweet or not.
Life is good
when you are singing.

RUN THERAPY

It is 5:00 in the morning and my alarm clock reminds me that my most important daily ritual is just an hour away. I get out of bed knowing that hitting the snooze button on the clock is not an option. Down the street there is another person also waking up to keep our plans to hit the pavement running as the sun comes up and the birds start to sing.

What started out as morning walks has progressed to far more than a ten-minute mile. It has become friendship, laugher, endurance, an educational forum and a time to share whatever thoughts might come to mind. It has become what we now refer to as "run therapy".

Winter, spring, summer, fall, rain, shine, or even snow, the ritual for us AM warriors happens regardless of the conditions outside.

MY IDEAL SUPERPOWERS

Those of us who are self-employed, as well as anyone who performs intellectual work of some kind for a living, are continuously faced with a dilemma.

The dilemma can be stated in the form of a two-word question: What’s next?
Many of us encounter this dilemma numerous times a day, whenever we first approach the machines that guide us through our work.

If you’re a student, you have this problem too. You’re supposed to be effectively self-managed, juggling assignments, group work, and numerous other activities. But how do you learn this behavior?

There is little education to guide us in this process of managing workflow.

A SPIRITED HORSE

Prime Minister WÁNG Yǔn 王允 had three daughters, and had married off the first and second to SŪ Lóng 苏龙 and WÈI Hǔ 魏虎, men who became very successful. However his third daughter WÁNG Bǎochuàn 王宝钏, as wayward and unpredictable as she was pretty, wanted to select her own husband, and she was tickled by the idea of doing so by throwing an embroidered ball from a tower.

WHY WE STOP LEARNING

How to keep learning when people think you know it all.

Most of us are lucky enough to start life out as learners and to stay active learners until we are into young adulthood.  We look at our children and know that their primary job in life is to grow, develop, and learn.  There is an entire world of history, grammar, science, and math for them to absorb.  Childen begin as empty vessels meant to gorge themselves on this feast of knowledge.

THE POWER OF BUSINESS COLLABORATION

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." (Anne Frank)

Collaboration is the key to business success. Just ask any winner from reality shows such as Survivor and The Apprentice. These players consistently display the power of collaboration by building alliances early on in the game. In most cases, it ensures their victory. Alliances or collaboration is the difference between winning or losing the game. It is not much different in the world of business.

Collaboration comes from the Latin word of "collaborare" which means to work together. Traditional business practices adhered to the old adage that there was not enough business to go around, so competition was healthy and considered the norm. Terms such as "beat your competition" or "step on your competition" were considered traditional business values.

THE INVISIBILITY CLOAK LIKE IN HARRY POTTER

The scientific pursuit of invisibility --- a la the cloak of invisibility used by the world's most popular fictional wizard, Harry Potter --- has in the past been weighed down by a number of rather cumbersome inventions.

But, now, a research team from the University of Texas at Austin has crafted a cloak that is just micrometers thick and can hide three-dimensional objects from microwaves.

SUMMLY: YAHOO IS SERIOUS ABOUT A YOUTH MOVEMENT

The Internet icon grabbed attention Monday when it announced its intention to acquire mobile news reader Summly, the brainchild of 17-year-old Nick D'Aloisio, for a reported $30 million. He promptly became Yahoo's youngest employee.

At the same time, Yahoo is embarking on an ambitious summer-long marketing campaign to woo the under-34 demographic, says Chief Marketing Officer Kathy Savitt. "We own adults 34 and older," she says. "But we plan to reintroduce Yahoo to the younger demographic."

THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES (video)

NO ONE IS DEALT A PERFECT HAND

Allow me to illustrate a situation that proves that the best results can rise from the worst of circumstances.

A young man was playing poker with six of his friends. Now this young man did not have a vast amount of money but wanted to play anyway so he threw a quarter of his money in the pot.

When the dealer dealt his cards he noticed he had the worst possible hand - a high card. Since he had put a quarter of his money in the pot already, he reasoned that he would do what he could to come out victorious.

SUCCESS IS DEFINED IN MANY WAYS

Three years ago, when I was still in the university, I also worked at a restaurant. Everyday I would see people come in pairs, in groups but mostly, alone. They would sit there and sip coffee, have a read or do just whatever they feel like doing. Oh, how I envied them. I wanted so much to do what they were doing, however, I couldn't because at that time I had to work for nine hours a day and study for the rest of it. So such an aspiration remained a silly, yet life long dream.

BEST FRIEND

"Be your own best friend." (Unknown)

Sound ridiculous, right?

But it is so true.

Many people can't be their own best friend. They don't have peace with
themselves.

And this condition will create a discontent in life in which will end
in a state of depression.

It happens because many can't accept what happened in their life in
the past. And they blame themselves for the bad things that happened.

Forgiveness is the key that plays a major role in this condition.

We should forgive ourselves if we are in this state. Make peace within
ourselves. Accept what and who we are.

And be our own best friend.

THE RISK OF UNUSUAL

"If you are not willing to risk the unusual you will have to settle
for the ordinary." (Jim Rohn)

Most of us always want to be fit in with the people around us.

To be the part of the larger group with the same color and tune.

Being unusual is the thing most of us always want to avoid. We are
afraid of being called "a freak"

That is why most of us end up as an ordinary.

When we do something, we do it in the most average people do. We don't
have any courage to do something differently or unusual. And some of
us become average.

Break the barrier.

Start new.

Don't try to fit in. Do something in the most unusual way. Being
unusual makes us different. Being different makes us noticeable by the
world.

Paint a different color. Sing a different tune.

And change the world.

THE HEART OVER MIND

"Use your mind as a tool." (Unknown)

When we use our mind as a tool, then our heart prevails.

Our mind has a great power to control our life. It doesn't matter what
kind of "mind" we have. It will control and direct our life.

That is why our heart should be the one that control our mind. So it
will direct our life in the right path.

It is in the heart, our conscience stays.

And let it rules over our mind.

THE BIGGER WORLD OR THE DARK DUNGEON.

"Your mind can either free or imprison you." (Unknown)
Our mind has a great power over our life. Our mind controls our life.
Whatever happens inside our mind will affect our life.
Great thoughts, like happy things, will free us. And it will broaden our world.
Bad thoughts, like sad things, will poison our life. It imprisons us
and make our world smaller.
After understand it, we have to be careful to watch the way we think.
Because what we think will set the course of our life. To the bigger
world or to the dark dungeon.

THE ALL-TERRAIN HUMAN

Kilian Jornet Burgada is the most dominating endurance athlete of his generation. In just eight years, Jornet has won more than 80 races, claimed some 16 titles and set at least a dozen speed records, many of them in distances that would require the rest of us to purchase an airplane ticket. He has run across entire landmasses (Corsica) and mountain ranges (the Pyrenees), nearly without pause. He regularly runs all day eating only wild berries and drinking only from streams. On summer mornings he will set off from his apartment door at the foot of Mont Blanc and run nearly two and a half vertical miles up to Europe’s roof — over cracked glaciers, past Gore-Tex’d climbers, into the thin air at 15,781 feet — and back home again in less than seven hours, a trip that mountaineers can spend days to complete.

CAFFEINE MAY BOOST DRIVER SAFETY

Long-haul truck drivers who drink coffee or other caffeinated drinks are significantly less likely to have an accident than their uncaffeinated peers.

Australian researchers looked at data on 530 drivers recently involved in a crash, comparing them with 517 who had not had an accident within the past 12 months. All were driving tractor units with one, two or three trailers.

The researchers interviewed all the drivers, gathering information about various health and lifestyle issues, including caffeine consumption over the past month. The study was published online in BMJ.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF IGNORING GOOD ADVICE

Duke Wén (Wén gōng 文公) of Jìn 晋 (monarch 04d-4) died, and strange noises were heard coming from his coffin. A divination was held, and the noises were interpreted as meaning that before long there would be an invasion from the region of Xiáo 崤, a village in southern Jìn near its border with the small state of Zhōu 周. This was puzzling, since Zhōu was small and weak and in no position to attack Jìn, despite the confusion attendant upon Duke Wén’s death.

MAKE FRIEND AND CHANGE LIFE

One never knows when a life could change simply because you introduced yourself.

It seemed like an every day moment at the time, but now I realize that when he introduced himself to me, it was the beginning of a life changing experience. All that I can hope is that my acquaintance means just as much to him…a true friend.

This is the story of a meeting of two personalities. It makes me realize that friendship is something to be cherished more than is possible. In fact, true friendship is something more timeless than anything I know of. Here's why:

THE GENEROUS ONE

"Some people!" snorted a man standing behind me in the long line at the grocery store.

"You would think the manager would pay attention and open another line," said a woman.

I looked to the front of the line to see what the hold up was. I saw a well dressed, young woman, trying to get the machine to accept her credit card. No matter how many times she swiped it, the machine kept rejecting it.

"It's one of them welfare card things. Damn people need to get a job like everyone else," said the man standing behind me.

THE ART OF SAYING NO

"The art of leadership is saying no, not saying yes. It is very easy
to say yes." (Tony Blair)

As a leader, we have to be able to say "no"

This word is the most difficult one to be uttered. It takes a lot of
courage to say it.

Especially when it has to be said to someone powerful.

Sometimes, it will disappoint someone when we say it.

But as a leader we have to be able to differentiate between making a
lot of people happy or maintaining the course of our leadership in the
right track.

Making everybody happy is the first formula to destroy a good leadership.

Saying "no" to a bad offer from someone powerful is the courage that
will bring the leadership to serve its purpose which in the end will
create good to many.

NEVER GIVE UP ON OURSELVES AND OTHERS

"Never give up on yourself. Then you will never give up on others."
(Pema Chodron)

If we give up on ourselves, we surely give up on others.

The most difficult subject to be dealt with is ourselves.

Like the one who says that the most ultimate enemy is ourselves.

If we are able to deal with ourselves and do not give up on ourselves,
then we will be able not giving up on others. Because others are less
difficult subject to be dealt with.

THE SUPERIOR AND THE INFERIOR

"The superior man understands what is right; the inferior man understands what will sell." (Confucius ) In other words, the people who understands only what will sell is the inferior man.

They will see everything from the profit point of view. Even in their relationship with others. Money become fixed point where they measure everything in their life. The superior man is the one who understand what is right. Good value is the way they see in life. He or she won't do something not right. What is right is the big concern in their life. It is the fixed point where they measure everything; in the way the relate to others and how they behave.

Which one are we?

IT IS NOT OUR AGE

"Age is no barrier. It's a limitation you put on your mind." (Jackie Joyner-Kersee)

For some, they think that they too young and that is the reason they cannot do something they dream.

For some others, they think that they are too old for their dream.

If we see both, it is not the age is the problem. But the way they think about themselves.

We are limited by our way of thinking, not by our age.

Look at the mirror and see not how old we are. But see that we have capability and ability to achieve our dream.

THE POTENTIAL TEACHERS

"Think of your problems as potential teachers." (Unknown)

No one likes problems.

But it is always there.

Problems are part of life. There is no life without problems.

If we see problems as something that will destroy us, then we will have a very bad attitude when the problem arises.

Think the other way.

Think problems as something that will teach us something. Something that will make us a better and wise person.

Then we will face problems with a new attitude. An attitude to learn something from it. There will be an eagerness within us to handle every problems.

We will see problems as teachers within it.

HARMONY: NOT THE SAME TUNE

"You don't get harmony when everybody sings the same note." (Doug Floyd) Sometimes we feel uneasy when others just disagree with us. They want their own opinion or ideas that doesn't go along with ours.

In this case, we have to remember that harmony won't be produced if everybody sings in the same tune.

What makes life so beautiful, colorful and alive is because the differences we have.

LEARN FROM OUR ENEMIES

"Learn things from your enemies." (Unknown) Are you kidding me?

Well, that is what comes to our mind when we heard it.

How can we learn from our enemies?

Enemies are the ones who always want to destroy us. Always try to find our weaknesses and attack that point. Criticize every mistakes we made.

That's it.

We can learn from them by looking at the way they criticize us.

It is a difficult thing to find our weaknesses. But it is an easy thing for our enemies to find our weaknesses.

Learn from them.

Strengthen our weakest point from the way they find it.

In other words, we should thanks our enemies. Because of them, we can be a better person.

266TH ROMAN CATHOLIC PONTIFF

Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio. The cardinals of the Roman Catholic church on Wednesday chose as their new pope a man from almost "the end of the world" – the first non-European to be elected for almost 1,300 years and the first-ever member of the Jesuit order.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the archbishop of Buenos Aires, becomes Pope Francis – the first pontiff to take that name – an early indication perhaps of a reign he hopes will be marked by inspirational preaching and evangelisation.

THE CUTTING KNIFE OF PRESSURE

"A person is what he is under pressure." (Unknown)

Pressure is like a cutting knife that peeling out all of our attributes we wear when everything is nice and smooth. It will peel out layer by layer of our artificial appearance until it shows the real us.

The real us, the true self, is hidden beneath so many of our "masks" in our daily life. What others see in us, many times is not the real us. We show to the world what the world wants to see in us.

And pressure reveals it to the world and to ourselves. It reminds us the true self that we have. It reminds us the real person are we.

But what we encounter doesn't have to become us.

If it is a good thing, let it be part of our life. But never let the bad thing be the part of our life.

We just encounter defeat. We just experience defeat. But we are not the defeated one.

THE ANGELS AND THE RICH MAN

Once there was a rich man who fell seriously ill. He sold all his belongings just to cure his illness. After he became healthy, he realized that he had nothing left. He had difficulties feeding himself, but he thought that in no time things would be back to normal again, he would be rich again.

He waited for a long, long time but nothing happened. His life was dreadful and so he decided that if he took his own life, it would be over. So he did.

THE ROSE AND THE ANGEL

One day, an angel was roaming in the forest. It was a very beautiful day. The angel saw trees touching the sky, and leaves were swinging with cool breeze. Flowers were smiling, painted with beautiful colors, and the birds were singing. Angel was very pleased to see the beauty that God had created; it was a magical feeling.

After walking a little further, the angel saw a rose plant. The rose plant was crying. The angel felt very sad.

The angel asked the rose plant, "Why are you crying, my child?"

The rose plant replied, "God doesn't love me as much as he loves other plants."

3 WAYS TO STOP DEPRESSION AND BURNT OUT

Our culture seems to be experiencing an epidemic of problems such as depression and burnout, with estimates of more than 10% each year being common.

In my practice as a medical doctor and now as I moved into psychological therapy exclusively, people have come to me with different levels of these problems, from depression bad enough to be actively planning suicide, to more vague thoughts of whether it is worth going on with it all.

HONESTY IS STILL THE BEST POLICY

Once a general manager wanted to test his people, who had come from all over India, about their values of life. He announced that in their seminar folder, there was a PVC pouch and in it a seed. When they return, they must put the seed in a pot with good soil and look after it very well. He would hold a competition at the next year's seminar and that the best plants would be awarded suitably.

Everyone did what was told to him. A year passed quickly. And next year in a big hall, a great scene! There were hundreds of pots and a great variety of plants - all except one. In this one pot was soil, but no plant! The owner of the pot was standing quietly and seemingly ashamed of himself.

POSITIVE THINKING IS NOT FAST FOOD

Fast food exists because we look for short cuts. We even look for short cuts when it comes to success and happiness. So, short cuts to success and happiness have been packaged and repackaged, over and over again, creating a multi-billion dollar industry. Positive thinking is one of the best selling of these products.

Positive thinking DOES facilitate success and happiness. It CAN create opportunities or outcomes that may not have happened otherwise.

THE BEST ADVERTISING IS SINCERE

In the throes of apprehending the future of advertising, much has been, and will be, said about new channels, emergent technologies, innovative measurement protocols, morphing agency roles and the like; much less, probably, about how we actually create marketing that works, that's worth consuming, and that's worth running in any channel. Under the klieg lights of The New, we risk losing sight of what makes all of it possible — an old-fashioned virtue that's equally at home in social, mobile, and digital, and also in ad agency conference rooms everywhere, despite what the stereotypes might suggest. I'm talking about sincerity.

THE HUMAN SPIRIT & PYRAMID OF LIFE

Pointless questions are hidden clues in disguise. They force us to see the world upside down and inside out. We regard so much as pointless, stupid, weak, and plain that sometimes, we even dub life as a whole that way.

So ask yourself, what then is the point of living? Does anything even have a purpose if it's not slighted by fate? Or maybe that's just our voice, always shouting out labels for the most intangible items, bouncing back?

Life has never been built into a sturdy pyramid of steel. It's either a pyramid of underpaid acrobats or a deck of flimsy cards

METHODS FOR CREATIVITY

Evolution. This is the method of incremental improvement. New ideas stem from other ideas, new solutions from previous ones, the new ones slightly improved over the old ones. Many of the very sophisticated things we enjoy today developed through a long period of constant incrementation. Making something a little better here, a little better there gradually makes it something a lot better--even entirely different from the original.

AMANDA PALMER: THE ART OF ASKING

10 THINGS OUR KIDS LEARN ABOUT LIFE WHILE TEXTING

Ever think about the amount of time our kids spend texting? You probably have. Have you thought about what life lessons they learn?

Paying attention doesn’t mean looking, listening or responding. Kids will say they do pay attention to the person they’re with, they can hear. But real paying attention and communicating attention involves nonverbal behavior, like eye contact, facial expression and gesture. It involves actually listening to the person’s words, not “tuning in” occasionally. It means being responsive to questions or to the end of an idea in real time.

I can treat everyone the same. Kids text wherever they are  – with their friends, at a table in the cafeteria, in the living room with a parent, in a doctor’s office with the doctor in the room. There’s no difference between friends, non-friends, family, parents and “authority figures.”

FRIEND CANNOT BE DEFINED

"Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends." (Cicero)

It is far easier to count the goats or sheep we have. It is just there and it is for real.

Friend is totally a different thing.

Someone can be close to us. We talk to him or her everyday. Always in touch. But it turns out that him or her is not our friend. Just somebody we know pretty well. Not our friends.

We meet a lot of people. We know a lot of people. We are in touch with a lot of people. But not all of them are our friend.

Friend is someone who thinks and feels like what we think and feel. In other words, friend is someone who has the same mind and heart.

And most of the time, friends communicate with heart.

This is something we can define easily. We just know it when someone is our friend or just someone we know.

It is rare.

That's why friend is a treasure. It is money can't buy.

And it is difficult to define.

Many years go by, and sometime someone we thought as our friend is just someone we know.

It is rare.

STRESS IS NOT OUR ENEMY

Stress has a bad reputation, and it doesn’t deserve it.

Too many articles, books, and stress reduction guides tell us that if we want to be happy and healthy, we need to “get rid of” or “reduce” stress. Unfortunately, trying to eliminate stress from your life or trying to stop feeling stressed usually creates more stress.

When we understand what’s going on in our brain when we experience stress, each of us can understand stress—and how to manage it—in a completely new way.

HUGH HOWEY: THE SELF PUBLISHED BEST SELLER

Author Hugh Howey. How self-pubbed best-seller Hugh Howey overturned the author-reader relationship—and wrote the next great sci-fi saga.

When bookstore employee and indie author Hugh Howey published his short story “Wool” as a 99-cent e-book on Amazon in July of 2011, he wasn’t banking on the story transforming his career. He didn’t even post a link to the story on his own website. But “Wool,” about a post-apocalyptic future in which society has been forced to live underground in a vast silo, quickly became the most popular thing he had ever written. By the end of October, the story had made it on the Kindle sci-fi best-seller list. Howey started to get emails from readers asking him for the rest of the story. There was no rest of the story, so Howey decided to write it.

ROBOTIC DOG (video)

Robotic dogs can apparently learn new tricks, and help researchers at the same time.

More than half the Earth can only be accessed by foot because conventional vehicles can’t manage difficult terrain. That’s why engineering company Boston Dynamics, with funding from the Defense Department’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, created BigDog.

EVERNOTE HAS BEEN HACKED

Online information storage firm Evernote has asked all users to reset their passwords, following a security breach by hackers.

The California-based company, that allows people to store and organise personal data on an external server, is thought to have about 50 million users.

RAGE, RAGE, RAGE

Someone from long ago and far away phoned late Thursday night to say she was glad I was back.

"Back from where?" I asked, since I had long returned from an extended sabbatical in the United States.

"It's not so much a case of back from as back to," she replied.

Intrigued, I demanded, "Explain."

A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE

I am a great fan and admirer of Cirque du Soleil and over the years have been very fortunate to see a number of their absolutely sensational shows.

At each of these shows, I have joined thousands of other people in the circus tent to reflect in total awe on the amazing and seemingly impossible acrobatic feats in each performance. When this is coupled with the larger than life sense of theatre that engulfs everyone, it leaves you inspired and full of appreciation for what you have just seen.

DO SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL

"People who are feeling beautiful on the inside do beautiful things out in the world." (Chris Bangle)

Coconut tree produces coconut fruits. Apple tree produces apples.

A bottle contained wine will spill wine if it is broken. A bottle contained water will spill water if it is broken.

People with beautiful feeling in the inside will produce beautiful things.

How can we produce something if we don't have it in the inside?

So, if we want to do something beautiful for the world, make sure we have it inside ourselves.

LEARN FROM A CHILD

"You can always learn something from a child." (Unknown)

As a grown up, we see everything around us and accept it as it is eventhough we don't understand it.

A child see something he or she don't understand and ask why. A child has a big curiosity and always wanna get an answer for it.

More than that, a child has a very big and vast imagination. It is like no boundary for a child when he or she plays.

We always can learn from them. We don't ask many questions. Not because we understand everything, but because we don't have any curiosity and lack of imagination.

See when a child play. Just watch them play. Don't interrupt and learn something.

SEE-THROUGH COMPUTER REVEALED

A transparent computer that allows users to reach inside and touch digital content has been unveiled at the TED conference in Los Angeles.

TED fellow Jinha Lee has been working on the SpaceTop 3D desktop in collaboration with Microsoft.

Allowing people to interact with machines in the same way they do with solid objects could make computing much more intuitive, he told the BBC.

THE ART OF INFLUENCE

Alice Freeman Palmer, the second president of Wellesley College, was happiest when she was doing most for others.

When she left the college in 1887, she gave herself so unweariedly to her self-imposed task of lightening the burdens of the unfortunate that her husband, a Harvard professor expostulated. He thought she should give her time and strength to writing books that would make her still more famous.

ONE MORE THING ABOUT DEPRESSION

There is one type of illness in the world that affects more people than anything else and is very deadly. If untreated this illness could affect everything you do. What is this illness? Depression. Serious depression requires professional treatment. Self-induced depression is something each of us can change.

Everyone's circumstances are different and the pressures we face from day to day vary, but really some of the causes self-induced depression are common: low self-esteem, hurtful thinking and a bad attitude.

Although these affect people on a global scale and cause much heartache, how can we change the way we think, feel, and cultivate a cheerful attitude? Like with any obstacle there will be stumbling blocks, but they can be avoided.

FEED OUR MIND

"Feed your mind as well as your body." (Unknown)

We need to eat in order to live.

We need to feed our mind in order to keep up with life. So we can calculate and make decision and think rightly.

There are two kinds of food we can eat, healthy food and junk food.

So with the food for our mind. Healthy ones and junk ones.

Healthy foods makes our body grows healthily. Junk food will make our body grows un-healthily.

Junk food for our mind will make us have a negative mind. Junk food for mind is bad readings, bad dirty movies or musics, etc. It will make us see the world around us with a negative worldview. Even when we look at ourselves. In the end, it will destroy our life.

The good food for mind; like good readings, movies and musics, will make us have a good positive worldview toward ourselves and the world around us. It will enrich our life and for the world around us.

HOW IS LIKELY GOOGLE GLASS TO CHANGE US

Google recently released a second video promoting their Google Glasses, scheduled to hit the mass market in early 2014. (Here’s their first marketing demo.)

With any new technology that we adopt it’s wise to ask ourselves not only what we gain but what we lose, both as individuals and as a society. For the Google Glasses, the full answers to these questions will remain elusive until the (fun!)

POPE BENEDICT: CHURCH'S STORMY WATERS

In front of rapt crowds, Pope Benedict XVI spoke of moments of struggle as well as joy Wednesday during his final public address from a stage set up in St. Peter's Square.

In an unusually personal message, he said there had been "many days of sunshine" but also "times when the water was rough ... and the Lord seemed to sleep."

ONE VOICE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

There's a song by Billy Gilham entitled "One Voice." The lyrics are powerful:

One voice, one simple word
Hearts know what to say
One dream can change the world
Keep believing
Till you find a way

The message is important when you think about its true meaning. One voice, truly focused, that will not rest until it achieves its desired goal can change the world. A single voice can make a difference, but the question then becomes: how best to use our voice?
